Without the New Mexico Corrections Department, they would be very lost and confused about their corrections system. The New Mexico Corrections Department is different than other Department of Corrections. The reason behind this is because they break down their Department even further into smaller subdivisions.
Why do they do that? They do that because it is easier to handle a small group of people than everyone all at once. As of right now, the New Mexico Corrections Department has eight subdivisions. These subdivisions are put in place to efficiently handle people at a better rate with little to no errors.
Please note that even though the New Mexico Corrections Department has many subdivisions, they are also working towards the same goals.
